School Uniform Requirements

We pride ourselves on our children looking smart. We expect all children to be in full school uniform at all times.

Parents/carers are reminded that all items of school clothing should be clearly named.

School Uniform Shop

Sweatshirts, Cardigans, Polo Shirts, Fleeces, P.E Shirts, P.E Bags and Baseball caps with the SJB logo are available to order from this website.

Girls

Smart grey or black traditional skirt or trousers, white polo shirt with school emblem or green and white gingham dress. School sweatshirt or cardigan with logo.

Boys

Smart grey or black traditional trousers or shorts, white polo shirt with school emblem, school sweatshirt with logo.

Footwear

For both boys and girls, laced or strap fastened flat heeled shoes, white, grey, black or dark green socks. A sun hat/cap is also required for the summer to protect the children’s heads. A baseball cap with school logo is available to buy from the online shop.

PE and Games Clothing

Each child should be provided with a school PE kit. This should consist of a T-shirt in house colours, shorts and plimsolls. Trainers are recommended for outdoor activities. Each child should have a named drawstring bag for PE clothing which can be hung on a peg in the cloakroom area. Large sports bags create considerable storage problems in school. Drawstring sports bags in house colours can be purchased from this website. Each child is assigned a house/colour by the school. If you do not know your child's house/colour please contact the school office.

Please Also Note

Children with long hair (girls and boys) should have their hair tied back at school.
The wearing of jewellery, including earrings and ear-studs (metal or plastic), is not permitted on safety grounds during physical education lessons and other sporting activities such as out of hours school learning or competitive fixtures . These items represent a potential hazard not only to the wearer but also to other children.
